In 2025 we selected the
Hungarian Children Oncology Network (TAX: 18137587-1-42, bank: 11600006-00000001-99165331).
The
donations would be spent on essential equipment in hospitals with high demand!
The Network operates for 50 years now connecting all the oncologysts and rheumatologists for sick children working at the 8 operating centres around Hungary.
Surprisingly basic devices are in dire need on a daily basis. They selected two of those that we aim to help with
a) an infusion pump - which doses the liquids into the IV and 4-5 of these are usually needed by each treated child at a time costing HUF 7-800k -, and
b) fonendoscope (colloquially a stetoscope), costing HUF 50-60k and is needed in every room to avoid cross contamination. Everyday problems where our Santa Heroes could potential help this year.
